McCall’s Transmission Works is a full-service shop specializing in transmission work and affordable repair and modification for collector and exotic cars.

Owner Ron McCall has more than 25 years experience working on transmissions, cooling and fuel systems, wiring, suspensions and more. His experience with all types of transmissions, engines and brake systems results in top quality work at an affordable price.

Before beginning work on any car, Ron performs a full diagnosis to determine the job requirements. From there, he can order the necessary parts and begin work – whether it’s replacing the brakes, working the suspension or performing a full removal and restoration of the transmission.

De Tomaso Pantera

McCall’s Transmission Works specializes in the De Tomaso Pantera models from 1971 and up. These Italian performance cars – which  feature a Ford 351 Cleveland with an Italian exotic body style, have the complex ZF Type 5DS25 transaxle. – they require the touch and knowledge of a specialist. There are hundreds of Panteras on the road today.

Ron McCall has completed numerous Pantera overhauls and is familiar with the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of these automobiles. Hundreds of Panteras are on the road today, thanks to Ron’s experience with removing and reinstalling transmissions.

McCall’s offers modification services to vintage and late model vehicles and has worked on numerous Camaros, Corvettes, Chevelles, Mustangs, GT40s muscle cars. Although Ron specializes on engine and suspension modification work, he will do any upgrade to vehicles as per customer request.
